Gather '98

August 14-16th a Simax campground at Crescent Lake in Oregon. See http://alutia.micapeak.com/GPNDG/ for other pertinent details.

Applications are now being accepted. The price is $40 a person for Friday/Saturday and $35 a person for just Saturday.

Checks and confirmations go to:

Shannon Kelley
GPNDG 98
20000 NE Jaquith Road
Newberg, OR 97132-6694
shannonk@sequent.com

Please don't delay too cause with your confirmation cause I need to get a reasonably clear head count. Anybody who sends CDN Shannon has swore to put that money towards a custom painted helmet that matches her BadBoy (and I'm not talking about Gary), rather than the Gather. Anybody who sends me money will see it spent at http://www.twobros.com.

This is more expensive than last year. However, consider how much you would spend for one night in a motel room. Without food. Campgrounds on the coast are $25 a night. With no services and reservations months in advance. Here, you get two nights, bathroom, showers, Golding cooking on Friday and on Saturday a choice of Ribs, Chicken, or (veggie dish to be named later). The Saturday dinner person has promised "you'll look good," Ahem.

If this is too expensive for you, well, I'll miss yah. I was seriously considering making this camping and everything else you were on your own. I didn't. So there.

Randall is already the early morning coffee volunteer. Just like before volunteers are appreciated. Things like cleanup, coolers, home brew, utensils, coffee pots, barbecues, etcÅ.

Live Band. Here's the deal:
Wendy O. Williams Is Dead
Joan Jett Was Booked
Megadeth Required Too Much Power

There was a bit of a back lash about paying for a band last year so I didn't include any money for that. It would be appreciated, however, if you did like last year's entertainment to send any band donations directly to Leigh Ann.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
