The 9th annual GPNDG

Various folks have posted photos of the year 2000 event: The Great Pacific NorthWest Dryside Gather is the 'premier' WetLeather gathering (campout) of the year. The Gather'00 Bosses, Shannon and Gary Kelley, picked the Crescent Lake site in Oregon we used a couple years ago.

The Y2K GPNDG was held at the Simax Group Camp at Crescent Lake, Oregon in the Deschutes National Forest. The campground is located on the NE shore of Crescent Lake just south of Highway 58, and roughly 50 miles north of Crater Lake, OR. The Gather fee has not yet been determined. It will probably be announced here (and on the GPNDG and WetLeather mailing lists) in early 2000.

A New/Old Twist

This year, the Gather started on Thursday night, which was designated "Nostalgia Night". In the old tradition of the earliest Gathers, the evening's repast was cook-your-own-Brats.
